OIDJ Day 2: Reflections

It is now the second day of the OIDJ workshop, and I can safely say that almost all my nerves have been expelled about meeting new people. We were surprised yesterday with the fact that rather than just writing just one story for the week, we instead now have to write two. That puts a bit more pressure on all of us here, but I'm still confident that we'll all be able to write two articles just as well as we can write one with all the lessons and tips we will be receiving during the week. The workshop is really starting to rev up and I am looking forward to the week more than ever now.

(Continued)

The second day is now coming to a close as we all gear up for our press conference with Steven Parker and Dimitri Flowers. I will admit that I am not only nervous about attending and participating in my first conference, but also my profile over one of the other participants. I hope that I can turn out a product that is on par with most of the others here. Hopefully, I can put what I have learned already to use and do just that.
